Catching up on Apolo's DWTS journey - here's their Hip Hop dance. The dance didn't resonate with the voters, putting them in the bottom 3:
They DID survive to dance another week! Here's their most recent dance, the Samba - they were not in the bottom 3, and will be dancing again next week!

Loved the Viennese Waltz! Len's comments were spot on for this dance! Good job, Team Apolo!

We don't have a TV. Wish there was some way to rent etc. made for TV movies. Guess I'll have to rely on y'all for the low down!

Considering the hot mess the men's short track team is currently in, I do not believe Apolo would compete in that atmosphere. If the situation gets worse (I'm thinking ISU), I don't think Apolo would appreciate being in the line of fire to answer questions about a time-frame when he has been absent from the sport.
The Vanoc Olympics found a group of competitors who were unified. I believe that's an integral part to any sport.
Not only that, he's worked way to hard to get rid of those "wimpy arms"! ;0

Well, Apolo is a master of public relations. He knows that any news is good news, so he just keeps dangling the tidbits out there. That's a bit unfair the the U.S. team. At the very least he could bring the men back into competition for a relay medal. Is he doing this while waiting to see if a better gig turns up? (e.g. broadcasting).

Sad to say, but I think the door has closed for Apolo. In the article, Guy Thibault says, ''With his fitness level, he can be back to where he was easily." I believe this is true, but in a conversation earlier this year, this subject came up - and someone I very much respect said, "He can be as good as he was, but to qualify for Sochi, he'll have to be BETTER than he was.", and I agree. It would be good for the promotion of the sport, but I can't imagine that it's gonna happen.

Here's the official trailer! www.hulu.com/watch/445101Okay, who saw the movie, and what'd'ja think? I watched it for the first 7 minutes and had to stop - I don't care for horror movies, so admittedly I have a low threshold for blood and gore, and I found that particular scene about as bloody and gory as I've ever seen... That being said, I gave it another go the next day. While there was still a great deal of B&G, I did think that the first scene was the worst of it. I actually kind'a enjoyed the rest of the movie - it had some Jurassic Park vibes to it... As for Apolo's acting skills, I think he did a good job. But it's hard to see someone you 'know' (by that I mean, familiar with him outside the realm of acting) in a different role. It can be distracting - for instance, as he was strapping his helmet on and taking some deep inhales/exhales prior to his base jump, it seemed like his pre-race rituals for ST, haha!

Hahahhaha! When my daughter was in the Fifth grade she was The Only Child In Her Class who was not allowed to watch Jurassic Park. What goes into the mind is there forever, and this sort of stuff is just taking our consciousness down to a lower level. So yes, the B&G is what I totally avoid. Now if Apolo could just make a guest appearance on Downton Abbey!LMAO

When Larry & I went to see Jurassic Park, I swear I came out of that movie expecting a Velociraptor to pounce on me as we came around the corner. To make matters worse, the plan was to have ribs for dinner right after...
Oh, I forgot to add - when Apolo was prepping for his base jump, after seeing the helmet adjustment and the 'cleansing breaths', I was waiting for the YAWN. Waiting... waiting... 'didn't happen, but that whole getting-in-the-zone ritual seemed so - familiar, haha!
