SUPERHERO! (Cute video, gasp)
Apolo did well in last week's cha-cha (middle of the pack - Pamela Anderson went home), and he scored even better in last night's quickstep (4th overall).
The East Coast is about to see how he fared in this week's voting - good luck, Apolo!

Looks like Apolo will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight!
Last night, Joey Fatone was eliminated on DWTS, and Apolo was never in danger - he advances to next week.

Apolo & Karina danced the Foxtrot and got their highest score yet - 25.5. He was never in danger of elimination, and will dance Hip Hop next week!

I missed seeing this show last Spring. Apolo on Speed Channel's "Hot Rod TV" show. Part of the episode is about building his Cadillac convertible for the SEMA hot rod & custom car show. Kindig-It-Design (First Aired: Apr. 23, 2012) An award winning Salt Lake City builder prepares cars for presentation at the annual SEMA show. Such a tease... Apolo is still hinting at another go...or even two at the Olympics. I wonder if the writer misunderstood...that he'd BE at the Olympics in 2014 and 2018...but as a commentator. But hey, given the changes in the rules to allow for more 'roller derby' like action, and Apolo developing that upper body - he can just muscle his way into the fray! He'll create a pretty solid brick wall to get around. "hey dude! Just TRY blasting past these biceps!" sports.yahoo.com/news/apolo-ohno-considering-training-2014-2018-olympic-games-161700342.html

LOL....much as I love him Apolo's answers were just plain embarassing to someone who knows anything about the sport. Maybe 2014, but he's way late to even start training. And who in his right mind would jump into USS at this point? He fought them most of his life....I"m just sorry he didn't get any formal education beyond his online high school diploma. If he can't jump start an acting career what's he going to do? He's got the motivational speech down, very polished and inspiring. Remind me someone, has he started a charitable foundation like Kristi Yamaguchi and Allison Baver? I wonder how his supplement business is doing. LIfe is long, you're never too late for most anything I think Apolo would make a great sports announcer. He's got the charisma and with his work ethic he could become an expert on most anything.

To be honest with everything thats going on with USA and time is getting on, i highly doubt he will return to skating. i think he just says these answers to off the media.
I do think he will do.well with anything he puts his mind to, he has a very strong mental motivation and work ethic to everything he does. i think he will be good at commentating or sports journo work like what he did for NBC at the London Olympic.
