Info for this weekend's World Cup Trials:
I'll be in Milwaukee and will try to give periodic updates during resurfacing breaks!
Admission to this event at the Pettit Center is FREE
Milwaukee is on Central Time
I haven't been able to find any plans for a live feed or broadcast - if anyone hears anything, please post!
The Schedule:
Saturday - 1500M & 500M - racing starts at 1:40pm, ending around 6:40pm
Sunday - 1000M - racing starts at 1:40pm, ending around 4:30pm

Thanks for doing this. Do you know why JR is not participating? I remember seeing that he was planning to take some time off, but that he also plans to come back & skate afterwards (just like he did after the 2010 Olympics) - certainly in time to vie for the next Olympic team! |

Ladies 1500M A Final:

Penalty and Yellow Card - Katy Ralston
Katy Ralston & Tamara Frederick collided & fell when in 3rd & 4th position toward the end of the race as Katy tried an inside pass. Tamara finished the race, but Katy needed medical attention. She left the rink under her own power.

Men's 500M Heats Advancing: Cole Krueger Jae Jae Yoo Ryan Pivirotto Andrew Clauser John- Henry Krueger Aaron Tran Keith Carroll Soo An Yoo Adam Callister Jake Powers... ...and I think Tyler Kroll & Gunnar Olsen were the two fastest thirds Heat 2 was crazy! The race was restarted after a fall by Thornick & Clauser before the apex. Then there were false starts leading to a Penalty on Casey Mullarkey  Then a misfire from the starting gun before the race finally went off. |
