He shouldn't be skating, that's for sure. At least it was a sprain and not a broken ankle.

One thing I've learned about these Olympic caliber athletes, they recover quickly and are always read to "go". I guess that's why Olympic caliber coaches do what they do best--make sure they put healthy athletes on the ice! It will be interesting to see if JR skates this weekend. But I agree with Nico!

Out of town and off line for the past few weeks....so glad y'all are representing. Hope JR's ankle heals quickly, but those soft tissue injuries can take quite a while to fully heal. I'm sure the newbies on the podium were thrilled. I'm always glad for them to take home some glory.

DOSE! Thanks for the link, and for the WC3 photos that you've posted on other threads - I had been looking for some podium shots of J.R., Lana & Katherine, and you found them! I still have some screen grabs that I'm off to post now - some of them are very similar to yours, so I'll post the ones that are different.
