When there is no Live Stream, we'll be following ISU's infamous 'blinking numbers’ (a live data feed), which has been our back-up for many years. When they’re actively racing, you’ll see a red, clickable “ LIVE” button in the menu bar at the following link: www.sportresult.com/federations/ISU/ShortTrack/As always, chat will be open here at BB along with whatever other feed is available! We'll be using this same World Cup thread. Stay tuned, because our 'international operatives' sometimes post links that are workable for us - and if not, they'll often post their impressions from what they're seeing online in their home countries. We met some fans in Salt Lake City who will be attending World Cup 3 in Nagoya, Japan (Dec 2-4).
They'd like to know if there are any other USA fans there and if so, they'd like to meet up!
If any of you are going and would like to get acquainted with some other USA fans, let me know and I'll put y'all in contact with each other!

I've updated the original post on this thread with pertinent info for next weekend's racing. Many thanks to the Reutter family for digging up the official link to World Cup 3!
This thread is open for guest posting, so please add any info that you think will be of interest.
We'll be chatting here next weekend as we follow ISU's results and any live streams that may be available.
If you're attending the competition, we'd love any reports that you'd be willing to post!
One bit of news: Simon Cho has withdrawn from the competition because his injury isn't healed enough for him to skate his best - John-Henry Krueger will replace him for the Asian World Cups.

Hi, Traveling to Nagoya with my mom, Lois. Would love to meet up with any one attending. Teresa Welcome to the board, Teresa - it's awesome that you're going! I'm going to try to contact the people that I mentioned above, and hopefully y'all can meet up. If I hear from them, I'll let you know here on this thread. Short track fans and families are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet - so please don't be shy about introducing yourselves to any others that you see waving the red, white & blue!

Based on the Day 1 Heat Schedule that's just been posted, it looks like today's racing is scheduled to last about 7 hours. That'll be about 2:30am for you East-Coast'ers , but those of us on the Left Coast could be asleep by midnight, bwahaha! I'm hoping that the extreme jump in visitors here over the last 24 hours means that we'll have lots of people joining us in our chat tonight!
