Evan skated in Group 2 at American Cup 2 in Cleveland, Ohio (Oct 29-30, 2011). The Group 2 skaters were attempting to qualify for the Junior Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria.
I wasn’t able to find the definitive overall placements for Group 2, but I think it’s safe to say that Evan was 2nd overall to Thomas Hong.
Thomas got the slot for the Jr. Olympics, but as you can see by his results, Evan is a consistent skater and did an admirable job, and will be fun to watch in Group 1 in years to come!
2nd Overall 1500M - 2nd (A Final) 500M - 2nd (A Final) 1000M - 2nd (A Final) 1500M Superfinal - 4th (A Final)
