Thanks for the link, aaosmts19! I'm off for a week of autumn camping - not sure where we're going, but we should be back in time for WC1.
We'll be hosting a live chat on this thread for any fans who'd like to follow the action via ISU's 'blinking numbers' or any other media sources!
If any of you have info on links, etc. for coverage, please post - I'll check back with you here next Thursday night!

I looked at CBC's website and they list Short Track for Saturday and Sunday. It's listed for 2:50pm (streaming) and 3:00pm (CBC broadcast) each day.
Here's what I can't figure out. The "Stream" is listed as "Live on CBCSports.ca 3" Is that the Radio station? There is Radio Canada, Radio Canada2 and Radio Canada3. IIRC, last season one of the radio stations live streamed WC skating without any commentary.
I figure that they must be waiting for the semi's in each race since the skating is schedule to start at 2pm each day.
Can anyone confirm that CBCSports.ca3 is the radio station?
Thanks

They also have the events listed for Friday, so it's possible you can test out what's happening tomorrow, and be all prepared for Saturday and Sunday

CBC Radio 3 is a web based streaming radio station that plays very current music, mostly Canadian content. www.cbc.ca/sports will live stream the World Cup. Go to this website then select these tabs: "watch", then "sports" , then highlight "live streaming", then find the image for the world cup at 3pm eastern time. I'm not sure if this will be available from isp's outside of Canada.......

Hi, y'all - I'm back to Home Sweet Home! Just unpacked and I'm gonna try to figure out where I left off here before we left. Thanks for the info on the live feed! If the live video feed doesn't work, here's the ISU site for the data feed: www.sportresult.com/federations/ISU/ShortTrack/Live action begins tomorrow (Friday) at 9:15am Eastern Time. Tony Chung (shorttrackhd) also plans to host a live chat on his UStream, as well as (maybe) Twitter updates. But if that's moving a little too fast for ya', we'll be chatting here, too! Join us tomorrow morning - GO TEAM USA!

Duh, Wha, HUH? What did I miss - I know that a couple of the Korean men are serving suspensions, bit did Korea not even send a team?

Thanks, aaosmts19 for the answer about the Koreans - and thanks for the info on WC 2 in Quebec City, too. I suppose it's similar to the US team's 'up-against-the-wall' situation with US Championships vs. World Cup 4. Geez, how does this happen? Do we need to lengthen the season by a week or two so the schedule will 'fit'? I mean, it's not as if they can't make ice in the rinks in late summer or early spring... EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a situation within the last few years where our USA skaters attended a 'selection meet' with bags packed and passports ready for the World Cups if they made the team?
