Many of our listed skaters (and clubs) occasionally sell or promote things that help fund their training and/or support causes that they believe in.
Back in 2008, the Rocker-U Bookstore was created for this purpose - rocker-u.net/the_bookstore.htm
This new board at BB has been created to provide an additional avenue to publicize these same items.
Any skater or club with a thread here on BB is welcome to have a place on this board to promote items in the following areas:
1) Sales of physical items: In the past, we have advertised such things as T-Shirts, handpainted ST helmets, scrapbook pages, and even bobbleheads. If a listed skater or club is 'selling', it can go on this board.
2) Fundraising pages: GoFundMe pages, Paypal donation links, etc...
3) Promotion of causes that you believe in: Many of our listed skaters have lent their names to good causes - and some have started their OWN non-profits. You are more than welcome to promote them here, as long as your name is associated with it in some way.
4) Classified ads: If a listed skater or club would like to sell something on a one-time basis (blades, skinsuits, sharpening tools, etc.), you can do it here!
Currently-available items that are already listed on The Bookstore at Rocker-U.net will eventually be transferred here - if you are a listed skater or club with items that are appropriate for this board, please contact me with all of your details at the following email address:

This board is NOT (at this time) available to businesses who sell ST-related products to skaters - but an avenue will eventually be provided for you in an upcoming 'Resources' board. Feel free to contact me if you would like to be included in this new board.
