Tamara Frederick, after hanging back in 5th place for most of the race, comes from behind in the last 2 laps to take second, and she advances - looks like she made some great passes!

John-Henry Krueger and Francois-Louis Tremblay (CAN) battled it out for first-second for most of the last half of the race, but veteran Flou prevailed - John-Henry finishes second, and will advance.
J.R. Celski (1st in his heat) and Kyle Carr (2nd) also advance!

Wow - this is the first time I remember seeing this:
A photo finish for second between Semen Elistratov (RUS) and Yoshiaki Oguro (JPN). I've seen photo finishes before, but they've usually been able to sort it out and declare a winner - in this case, they've allowed both skaters to advance!
