Wow - that was an ill-advised pass by Canada. It wasn't necessary, 'cause they had second in hand...
CANADA got a penalty, and USA LADIES ADVANCE!!!
The men are up next in the HEAT FROM HE(double-hockey-sticks)!!!

The men (Carr, Jayner, Celski, Krueger) finish 3rd in Heat 1, and will be in the B Final - if I'm correct in my calculations, we need to finish ahead of Germany in points during this Relay competition in order to qualify a relay team for World Championships. I hate to root against Germany, but...
The Germans are up next in their Semifinal - if they finish 1st or second, I think it's all over for USA in World Championsips...

Nope! Netherlands wins, Japan is penalized, and Russia finishes second. The German skater is just laying on the ice and won't get up (?)
NOW - I think - we have to finish ahead of Germany in the B Final tomorrow in order to qualify a team for World Championships... *biting nails*

I'm back here briefly. What happened? How did the men's relays go? Simon's injured so John-Henry is in the relay?
This sport is giving me too much stress. D:

I wonder if they knew they were on the bubble... Tomorrow will be interesting to say the least. Well, gotta stop sneaking peeks and get back to my 'yob'...
