Relays are about to start - Ladies' A Final, followed by Men's B and A Finals.
It's gonna be a crowd out there for the Ladies - 5 teams... it's nice to see Hungary there!

Oh, wow - Korean skater (Cho Ha-Ri?) (nope, it was Lee Eun-Byul) hit the wall in Lap 16 & stayed down long enough that they stopped the race.
She's holding her left shoulder, but looks to be okay.
Bummer for Canada on the re-skate - they led most (if not all) of the race.
Korea's not in the re-skate - in short track, if they stop a race because of a suspected serious injury, somebody has to leave the ice. Generally it's the injured skater. In this case, Korea is gone. For this reason, you don't see 'flops' in short track - if they stay down, they're not faking.

In the men's B Final, Great Britain had just taken the lead in lap 35 - and at the same time, China fell on the exchange.
China still ended up 3rd, behing GBR and Germany.
Men's Relay A Final (the last event of the weekend) up next!

Don't know what happened to Charles Hamelin - he fell in the straightaway. It didn't look like anyone touched him. KOREA WINS GOLD! Looks like Netherlands got Silver, Russia Bronze. NED may be getting a PEN - it was tight with Russia in that last lap.

There WAS a PEN on NED - so Canada makes the podium (Bronze).

Loved the Ladies' Relay medal ceremony - Marianne St-Gelais jumped in front of the Chinese ladies at the end, and started flexing - the Chinese ladies all put their hands over Marianne's face, haha! Does anybody know what flag the Canadian ladies were carrying around the rink after that ceremony? It wasn't Canada, and it wasn't Quebec...

So, what does everyone think of the buzz-cut version of Olivier Jean? I almost didn't recognize him!
