Here are Kyle's results for World Cup 3 in Changchun, China, December 3-5, 2010, including SILVER in the Men's Relay - his first World Cup medal! NOTE: Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this: The 500M was run twice in this World Cup, and in Kyle's 500M(2) Quarterfinal, he achieved the 2nd fastest 500M time in BOTH 500M distances (41.727) - second only to Jialiang Han's Gold Medal-winning time of 41.498 - GOOD JOB, KYLE! 500M(1) – Not Entered 1500M – Heats (4th); Repechage Quarters (2nd); Rep Semis (5th) 500M(2) – Prelims (2nd); Heats (2nd); Quarters (1st); Semis (5th) 1000M – Not Entered 5000M Relay - SILVER MEDALSince I couldn't find any photos of Kyle skating in this event, it's an opportune time to post a cool photo I recently found in a Google Alert. Sorry, I don't know who the photographer is, nor the circumstances, but I do love the photo!

Good luck to Kyle and his mom today! They're both running in the L.A. marathon right now (in the rain, I might add)... ...are you sure it wasn't a full on monsoon? We've had mucho flooding in this neck of the woods. I don't envy that run at all. (well, truthfully, I don't envy running anyway, but in a deluge would truly suck)

Strange as it may seem, the whole nation usually hears about our 'rainshowers'. But, the post-rain days are SO beautiful! (Just don't go in the water.)
