Sarah is currently skating in Olympic Trials, but here are her results from World Cups 3 & 4 (the two Olympic qualifying competitions). The team’s overall performances in these 2 World Cups qualified the USA to send 3 ladies to the Winter Olympics in Sochi - of those 3 who go, 3 will skate in the 500M & 1500M, and 2 will skate in the 1000M. We did not qualify a Ladies Relay team.
World Cup 3, Torino Italy (November 7-10, 2013) 1500M - Not Entered 500M – Pre-Prelims (2nd); Prelims (3rd) 1000M – Not Entered 3000M Relay – Not Entered
World Cup 4, Kolomna, Russia (November 14-17, 2013) 1500M - Not Entered 500M – Pre-Prelims (2nd); Prelims (3rd- qualified); Heats (4th) 1000M – Not Entered 3000M Relay – Not Entered

Another nice news video featuring the Chen family - it's a family affair! (And wow, 'little Matthew' has really grown!) Speedskating Takes PassionSpeed skating is a sport with no college or professional level. The Chen family shows how it takes passion to keep them coming back to the ice. Lolita Lopez reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014.www.nbclosangeles.com/video/#!/on-air/as-seen-on/Speed-Skating-Takes-Passion/242325521 You will need to copy/paste the link, as the 'clickable' (blue) part of it is incomplete.
