Thanks, '19' for the recap! I just couldn't drag myself out of bed at 2:30am - busy day ahead for me, so I needed the sleep. My apologies to our guys...
Ladies should be starting soon!

In the 1000M distance, Katherine won her heat (5 points), Lana was 3rd (2 points), Jessica and Aly were 4th (1 point each) - the standings after 1 distance are:
1st: Korea (15) 2nd: Canada & China (tied with 10 pts) 4th: USA (9)
After the men skate, there will probably be an ice resurface, then the 500M

Uh-Oh - Kwang of Korea won, but it looks like the other 3 had a pileup in the last lap - all of them finished, but were 7-8 seconds behind...

Katherine won! Jessica was 7th
For the ladies after 3 distances:
1st: Korea (31) 2nd: China (24) 3rd: USA (23) 4th: Canada (20)
It'll be hard for us to catch Korea for the gold (though stranger things have happened), but we definitely have a shot at silver. As long as we finish ahead of Canada in the relay, we'll be on the podium somewhere!
I'm gonna try to stick around till the ladies race in the relay - which will mean taking that 'late for church walk of shame'... Larry says he'll save me a seat!
