Yay for our men! Is that Kyle Carr's first worlds medal? I'd say yes. He's never been an individual skater & I think this is the first worlds relay team he's been on.

Ok, you call me dear! I call you dear too! Haha! LOL! "Oh dear" is an expression (an idiom.) It means, "Oh no!" But you can be our dear (very well liked person) anyway!

Hi, all - I lost internet at the rink just after Jeff's second round race and never was able to reconnect. Other people were able to connect and kept me up to speed.
It was nice to get back here to the hotel and read all of your comments - it helped me figure out what happened!
I'm off to dinner now, but I'll check back later.

Some great pictures, especially of Travis. nice perspective, shooting from the roof looking down. They look like little spiders or frogs! www.guardian.co.uk/sport/gallery/2011/mar/14/world-short-track-speed-skating-in-pictures#/?picture=372621982&index=13Lucky enough to be at Sheffield. In Travis's 1000, he was in contention and skating a great race. Then he seemed to almost lose his footing for a micro-second, and his glasses went flying. Another micro-second trying to figure out what happened, as he seemed to look back just a bit to figure out what happened. IMHO he was never able to regain the position that he was in at the time. After the race he showed the broken glasses to the referee and indicated that he had been hit in the face. To no avail.....

Welcome back '19'! ;D
I noticed those Guardian pics yesterday while I was waiting for my flight - they're SO COOL! I downloaded some of them and I'll try to post them later.
How many USA fans were there? Did y'all give Katherine the flag?
