Zamboni break - racing resumes at :30 past the hour.
The 1500M semifinals are next, and we still have Rachel Stewart for the ladies, Cole Krueger for the men.
Congrats to Elena, Martina and Andrea, the Italians who are still 'in the hunt'!

Awww, thanks, Dose - you're always welcome to comment! I'm happy for the company. Your Chinese skaters are doing well - 4 of 6 are in the Semifinals! ;D They're having Opening Ceremonies now, and it's pretty cool - they showed what I presume to be some opening video from the Torino Olympics, then they introduced each country while showing their flags - now they're doing a mountaineering demo with a guy who could give Spiderman a run for his money! Good show, Courmayeur! |

Awww, mann - Cole got caught up in a fall by another skater. I thought he got past it, but he fell shortly thereafter. He's okay, but finished 5th... Jack Whelbourne (GBR) is a SUPERB skater!  |

What??? Nobody wanted to report on the relays in my absence? Anyhow... Both of our teams (men and ladies) qualified for tomorrow's semifinals! ISU is reporting an earlier start tomorrow (that's OVERNIGHT tonight). 11:30am local time - that would be 5:30am Eastern, 2:30am Pacific.
