There have been a few provisional allotments - this post will be updated with other info when available: World Jr. Championships: Aosta, Italy - January 18-20, 2011 World Team Championships: Warsaw, Poland - March 19-20, 2011 World Championships: Sheffield, Great Britain - March 11-13, 2011 Why did I think that 2010 was the last of the World Team Championships?

Because they (ISU) have been discussing ditching it entirely. The US didn't often participate in it because of money shortfalls. (Pathetic, ain't it? A major player like our country can't get it together financially?) The few times we did go, we did very well indeed. Gold one year, the number one team in the world.

The link that Justsayin' provided on the ISU thread shows that the World Team Championships issue (whether to continue it beyond the 2010-2011 season) is on the agenda for the ISU's June meeting.
If I'm reading it right, it seems that it will be held at least one more time (March, 2011), and its future beyond that is in doubt.

Update to the domestic schedule:
The following events are no longer listed as 'tentative', so I suppose it would be safe to start making reservations:
AmCup 1 - Milwaukee, WI (Oct 2-3, 2010) AmCup Final/National Age Group Championships - Wausau (March 11-13)
I'm happy to see Wausau again for Nationals - we had a great time there last year. According to the ISU 'tentative' schedule, this competition is the same weekend as World Championships in Sheffield, England - so any tiny thoughts I had of going to England are out the window, 'cause I don't want to miss Nationals!

The World Cup Schedule is posted at ISU.org, and unfortunately, there is no World Cup in the USA, nor in Western Canada (good news for the East-Coasters, though!)
WC 1 - Montreal, Canada (Oct 22-24) WC 2 - Quebec, Canada (Oct 29-31) WC 3 - Changchun, China (Dec 3-5) WC 4 - Shanghai, China (Dec 10-12) WC 5 - Moscow, Russia (Feb 11-13) WC 6 - Dresden, Germany (Feb 18-20)
None of these is listed as 'provisional', so I suppose the dates/locations are firm.
USS doesn't have the World Cups on their schedule yet, but I did notice that all of the domestic ST events are no longer listed as *tentative*.
I'll adjust the schedule and trip-planning threads with the new info soon!

Hmmm... Today the USS schedule shows the US Championships in SLC as *tentative* I noticed that the dates currently listed (Dec 16-19) make for a really tight turnaround after World Cup 4 - that would make 3 major competitions in a row. Yikes!
