I am definitely interested in going to this...probably driving up from Boston (5+ hours) on Thursday. If anyone's interesting in getting to Boston and going with me, let me know.

For those who are new to the board and the people here, I've known aaosmts19 for a long time at GA, and would have no hesitation about jumping in a car for a long drive with her - sounds like fun! I hope you get to go!

Here is the lineup for the Individual Distances for World Cups 3 & 4. Jeff Simon is taking JR's place at the World Cups, so I'm assuming he will be skating any distances listed for JR(?). If we qualify a full team of 5 women and 5 men at WC's 3 & 4, this should be the lineup for the Olympics as well. MEN: 1500M – 1) Ohno 2) Celski 3) Malone 500M – 1) Ohno 2) Malone 3) Cho 1000M – 1) Ohno 2) Jayner 3) Celski LADIES: 1500m – 1) Reutter 2) Baver 3) Derrick 500M – 1) Dudek 2) Reutter 3) Gehring 1000M – 1) Reutter 2) Derrick 3) Baver You can check my logic on the Olympic Team Selection Process thread (scroll down to the final post) - I'd welcome any corrections. therockerforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=trips&thread=411&page=1The way things played out, it ends up being the Top 3 finishers in each Distance from Trials.

ditto on aao---19.
Met her this weekend. Very nice lady. If you are driving out of Boston, you definitely need a native behind the wheel. Besides SLC and those crazy Wasatch Mountains--Boston is the 2nd city I get lost in when driving. I think it has more to do with the "wow, look at that factor" than being directional challenged. Hush your mouth Breidy, those mountains drive me crazy and that weird grid system they use. UGH. Just direct me to the OVAL? Left turn on Cougar, right? LOL

Tony Chung has just announced on his twitter -- shorttrackhd -- that Jordan Malone has torn his ACL and won't be at the World Cups. And that Lee Ho Suk has broken his ankel and will miss out on those as well. Charles Ryan will step in for Jordan. Ryan Bedford was actually up next to sub, but he is participating in the the long track Olympic Trials.
Jordan hasn't actually said anything on facebook, except to say that he finally got a 'real' diagnosis and was headed back to Dallas.

Awwwww, naaaaaaaw, say it ain't SO! I did see a cryptic message from Jordan about a 'real diagnosis', but I was hoping it was the flu or something...Geez, Louise, what more can go wrong this year???
