First post on this forum---hi all! I'm bringing this over from the "guest board." Universal Sports does have WC 1, as well as the other WCs, listed on their schedule. Universal did, however, pull the plug last season on televising ST events that were listed on their website. So I would have a backup plan--ISU (sometimes flashing, sometimes not ) numbers. Also, since times are still listed as TBA, I am wondering if Universal Sports will first air these on a video delay, or if they will be shown LIVE. Link to Universal Sports' schedule: www.universalsports.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=23000&KEY=&SPID=13052&SPSID=105576ISU has also now added a schedule for the events: www.sportresult.com/federations/ISU/ShortTrack/?sea=99899800000022At first glance, looks like the meet starts at 1:15 PM Beijing time. If I am correct, that is 1:15 AM Eastern (Thursday morning).

Thanks, sk8on! I think you're right about the times... 1:15pm Beijing Time would be: 1:15am Thursday morning Eastern 10:15pm Wednesday night Pacific Thursday's events: 1500M - Heats 500M - Prelims & Heats Friday's events: (also starting at 1:15am Eastern) 1000M - Prelims & Heats Relay (Men) - Heats & QF Relay (Ladies) - Heats & SF Saturday's events: (2:10am Saturday Eastern; 11:10pm Friday Pacific) 1500M - QF, SF, Finals 500M - QF, SF, Finals Sunday's events: (1:55am Sunday Eastern; 10:55pm Saturday Pacific) 1000M - QF, SF, Finals Relay (Men) - SF & Finals Relay (Ladies) - Finals The ISU link that Sk8on posted above is for the Sportresult site - which is the most likely place to find live results (i.e., the 'blinking numbers'): www.sportresult.com/federations/ISU/ShortTrack/?sea=99899800000022At some point you'll see a clickable link for 'LIVE RESULTS' (last year it was in red).

Here's a link (thanks wikipaedia): wwitv.com/tv_channels/7025.htmI remember using this last year, with no luck. YMMV, but if you read the comments on the page, you'll find that the people who had success with it had super-high internet speed, and most people (at least who posted) had no luck. These comments were in reference to other sports events being broadcast. Interesting...AO saying that you can't use twitter and facebook from China, but on this website you can click a button and it will add this tweat to your twitter acct: "I am watching CCTV 5 live online TV broadcast at wwitv.com/tv_channels/7025.htm'
