In the lead-up to the 2014 Olympics the Canadian has been asking Olympians and Olympic hopefuls to tweet an account of what a typical day looks like. Valérie Maltais was one of the athletes asked to do this and on November 28th she took us through what a day of training is like.
The Canadian Olympic team compiled her tweets here: olympic.ca/2013/12/04/a-day-in-the-life-of-short-track-speed-skater-valerie-maltais/ The tweets are in French but they have been translated and almost all of them have a picture associated with them.
Valérie also has a blog that she updates: www.valemaltais.blogspot.ca/It's also in French but with Google translate it's quite a good read.
Michael Gilday also tweeted about his day on the 28th and once his tweets have been compiled in the same way Valérie's day was, I'll post that link on his page.
