Here's an article and a really well done video about François Hamelin and his race preparations by Red Bull, one of his sponsors:
It's Snow Time: Francois Hamelin
'Four years’ training for just one moment' is how Francois Hamelin describes his dedication to his sport.
The 26-year-old, from the French-speaking province of Quebec, is following in the footsteps of his older brother, and acclaimed Canadian short tracker, Charles Hamelin.
Following in the family tradition - Francois' father, Yves, is also the director of the Canadian short track program - the Quebecois is determined to succeed, and his strategy is simple: get off to a quick start!
"The start is really important, especially in the 500m," he says, "so when you get to the line you need to be focused on one thing and for me it’s focusing on the first point. You’re waiting for the gun and my goal is just to be first at this point."

The Hamelin brothers also have a website that they update regularly with blog posts around competitions and they also add links to interviews, videos and articles about them. The website is both in English and French and here's the link to the English version: hamelinbrothers.com/

Posting this to BOTH Charles & Francois' threads - a very good one! Hamelin brothers part of proud Quebec short track speed skating traditionBy Steve Buffery / Toronto Sun / Thursday, November 28, 2013 05:40 PM EST It’s hard to imagine two closer brothers. For more than a decade, they’ve travelled the world together, supporting each unconditionally in both good times and bad — often at the same competition, such as the Vancouver Olympics. Sitting inside the frigid Mattamy Centre on Wednesday, the Hamelins took turns setting each other up for a laugh and often finished each other’s thoughts. As Charles said, when you have such a close confidant at every competition — someone you can lean on when times are tough — it’s a huge advantage.Read it all: www.torontosun.com/2013/11/28/hamelin-brothers-part-of-proud-short-track-speed-skating-in-quebec
