I've noticed a lot of views here on Olivier's thread after the news broke that he was a victim of skate sabotage by USA skater Simon Cho. I've posted (upthread) the most relevant articles - but for more info and comments about the entire situation, we invite you to read the following thread. The most recent posts are now on Page 5: www.therockerforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=hot&thread=1081

Welcome to the board, OFPS! Good article - thanks for posting it. I read a similar one that mentioned the Canadian team has their own dressing room for the first 2 World Cups, so security will be a bit easier - but that won't be the case when they travel to other countries. Olivier has been such a good sport about this! Our little contingent of 'Yanks' will be cheering loudly for him in Calgary this weekend!

I'm glad my link worked. I'll be cheering for Olivier ( and the rest of the Canadian team) too but my heart really belongs to the Hamelin boys so I'll be cheering a little louder for them. I'm hoping Charles Hamelin equals the 500 metre time he had at the Canadian trials (40.125) and finally gets the world record I think he deserves.

Olivier Jean did a short Q&A interview with NBC about his confidence, the Canadian relay team, his partying, short track in Canada and his relationship with the US Short Track team members.
