Erin competed at American Cup 3 in Midland, MI (February 12-13, 2011). She finished in first place overall, and WON the 1500M and the 500M! – awesome job, Erin!!! Here are her results:

Erin WON the American Cup Series!!! This means she get an automatic invite to train with the National Team in Salt Lake City - CONGRATULATIONS, Erin!  Barlett Named American Cup ChampionMarch 15, 2011 MARQUETTE– United States Olympic Education Center speedskater Erin Bartlett is the 2011 American Cup Champion. Bartlett earned the honors after finishing second at the American Cup Final held March 11-13 in Wausau, Wis. Bartlett (Lakewood, Ohio), a junior at Northern Michigan University, stayed with Morgan Izykowski, a 2010 World Cup team member, throughout the final competition to claim first in the American Cup series. As the American Cup champion, Bartlett gained an automatic spot on the U.S. National team in Salt Lake City, Utah. “She was very solid throughout the entire thing. She had a couple slipups, but she always came back strong and skated great,” said co-head coach Tony Goskowicz. Erin competed in the American Cup Final - Wausau, WI (March 11-13, 2011). She accumulated enough points to WIN the AmCup Series for the Ladies, earning an automatic invite to train with the National Team in SLC! At American Cup III, the team had one champion on the women’s short track side, sophomore Erin Bartlett scoring just under 1,000 points ahead of the second place skater… …“After American Cup III, I was tied for first going into the American Cup Final, so there was a chance for me to make the national team,” Bartlett said. Now that Erin is training with the National Team, she spent last week with them in Marquette at their annual Summer Training Camp. Here's an article about the camp, with a quote from Erin. Erin skated at American Cup 2 in Cleveland, Ohio (Oct 29-30, 2011). She finished 2nd overall, and was in 3 out of 4 A Finals!
