Mens 500M QF order of finish (top 2 per heat and 2 fastest thirds advance):
1) JH Krueger 2) Jayner 3) Mullarkey 4) SA Yoo
1) Pivirotto 2) Callister 3) Jae Jae Yoo
1) Carroll 2) C Krueger 3) Kroll 4) Geminder
They aren't posting times, but after watching the heats I'm guessing that Jae Jae and Casey Mullarkey will be the third-place'rs advancing.
Next racing is at 10:00

Mens 1000M QF (top 2 per heat and 2 fastest thirds advance)
1) C Krueger 2) Kroll 3) Pivirotto (Advanced) 4) Jayner (Penalty)
1) Callister 2) Carroll 3) SA Yoo 4) Geminder
1) JH Krueger 2) Mullarkey 3) Jae Jae Yoo
I'm presuming that Soo An Yoo and Jae Jae Yoo will advance, along with Ryan Pivirotto (i.e., ALL the third place finishers)
Because there are so few ladies entered, there will be no QF's for them - so we're done for the day!

Thanks, for the update Lori. Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea why so few people are entered in this competition? Are there injuries or some sort of qualifying standards or just a lot of juniors skipping this weekend in favour of the US Junior Championships next weekend? Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I'm just wondering why the fields are half the size they were at the Fall World Cup Qualifier.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I'm just wondering why the fields are half the size they were at the Fall World Cup Qualifier. I think that both of your guesses may be correct. Most of the names that are 'missing' are signed up for next week's Junior Championships. There are an additional handful of names from Fall who were skating in their first-ever Senior-level competition at that time, and it appears that the time standard is stricter for this event - which may have prevented some of them from qualifying. The time standard for Fall Trials was a 1000M time of 1:46.0 for Ladies and 1:35.0 for Men OR a 500M time of 51.0 for Ladies and 45.0 for Men; the time standard for this event was a 1000M time of 1:38.0 for Ladies and 1:30.0 for Men - quite a difference! Of the 12 skaters on the Fall World Cup team, it looks like Jake Powers is the only one who didn't sign up for either event (I don't know why). --------- The announced start time for tomorrow is 9:40 Mountain time (8:40 Pacific; 11:40 Eastern). We're shooting to be in our seats by 9:30 just in case they start early again...

They're going straight to the Final in the Ladies 1500 (only 7 Ladies)...
...and Emily Scott has apparently withdrawn - we had heard she had withdrawn. Don't know why.
Ladies 1500M Final - order of finish:
1) Smith 2) Ralston 3) Frederick 4) Goetz* 5) Burkholder* 6) Santos 7) Yutangco
They're now racing the Mens 1500M Finals - B then A
CORRECTED: Burkholder was 4th, Goetz was 5th...

Mens 1500M A Final:
1) Carroll 2) C Krueger 3) Pivirotto 4) Callister (almost fell) 5) JH Krueger (fell) 6) SA Yoo (fell)
There were no penalties in this race, as it was apparently caused by ice breaking out from under one of the skaters. Unlucky..
CORRECTION: Adam Callister was penalized - the official order of finish was:
1) Carroll 2) C Krueger 3) Pivirotto 4) JH Krueger 5) Soo An Yoo 6) Callister (Penalty)
