Kyle skated at World Cup 1 in Salt Lake City (Oct 21-23, 2011). He made it to the Semifinals in both of his individual races (No Repechages neccesary, thank you)! He also skated every round of the relays, qualifying USA for the A Final, where they missed the podium but finished 4th in the World! 1500M(1) – Heats (2nd); SF (5th) 1000M – Not Entered 500M - Not Entered 1500M(2) - Heats (2nd); SF (6th) 5000M Relay - Kyle skated every round of the Relays - the men made it to the A Final, where they finished 4th. I think this was Kyle's 1500M(2) Semifinal. L to R: Francois Hamelin (CAN); Yuma Sakurai (JPN); Kyle Carr (USA); Jinkyu Noh (KOR); Yongjun Yu (CHN). Photo Credit: Jerry Search Again, I'm just guessing here - I 'think' this is Kyle's 1500M(1) Heat, and Kyle's right in the middle, with the '48-' helmet! Kyle represented Team USA at the World Championships in Shanghai, China (March 9-11, 2012). He did not skate in individual events, but he did participate in the Relay Semifinals - however, the team incurred a penalty and did not advance. I couldn’t find any photos of Kyle from Shanghai, but some great photos from the competition can be found on ISU’s Facebook photo albums at: www.facebook.com/media/albums/?id=145517225545786#!/media/set/?set=a.224320437665464.46512.145517225545786&type=3 Tags: Kyle Carr / Short Track Speedskating
