Sun Linlin: There is not else time when wanted to express the feeling of this moment. Today skated Two 500m, Two relays of three people. Although only was performance, but actually is my limit. Not only fianlly Leg lose control, but also thoracic cavity had a little pain. This feeling already has not felt almost a year, however actually very enjoy this tired process. Not only can help Japan victims but also may let more people know short track speed skating! Wang Meng: With our efforts to help stricken people. Tiredness also is worth... @sun Linlin Thanks for sharing this, Dose! It's nice to see that the Chinese girls had a good experience. I'm sorry to hear that Sun Linlin was in pain. I don't know what "Sun" means in Chinese - but in English it can mean something that is bright and shining, and she most definitely has a "Sunny" personality. She always seemed to be happy and smiling!

She is nothing. She seems to lack exercise. Haha! Sunshine is their symbol! "Sun" is her surname. But "Sun" means in Chinese, Er... Except of "surname", the "Sun" means is "grandchildren" (children of one's children). Haha.... By the way, "Wang" is Wang Meng's surname, except of "surname", the "Wang" means is "the strongest or most powerful", or "king", "ruler". Before hadn't to think carefully, both are surname, but their difference is so big...... Haha!

This afternoon/evening I volunteered at the SCSSA Silver Skates competition, which includes the DeMorra and Valencia clubs. I operated one of the timers, and in the first few races I operated that timer rather poorly - thankfully there were fail-safe procedures in place, lol! I did prove to be coachable (thank you, Morgan Chen), 'cause I don't think I had any glaring errors for the remainder... It's always fun to see the tykes skate, as well as the older up-and-come'rs. I look forward to seeing many of you in 2 weeks in Green Bay - GO SoCal!!!

SCSSA is having a Skate-A-Thon at 5:30, July 28 - Glacial Gardens Ice Rink in Lakewood, CA. From Annette Pumphrey: This is our big fundraiser to help pay for the ice in the summer. We hope that we can raise enough to keep ourselves in operation. We need everyone's support! Let me know if you don't see your name on the list below and you plan to skate. WE NEED YOU and hope to have about 30 skaters on the ice as we really need to raise several thousand dollars. Two of the participating skaters, Kendal Pumphrey and Aidan Williams, have gofundme pages to raise pledges for their laps: Kendal - www.gofundme.com/rs32kAidan - www.gofundme.com/ri238
