The season ended, forum so quiet. But short track race is not over yet! The Chinese short track speed skating national championships had just ended, the Asia Championships began to be staged in Beijing. Speaks of the Asia Championships, Although was Asia Championships, but funny things continuously happened. the women relay final, in the race of only three teams lost the bronze medal! Guess what happened? Give a prompt, It hadn't contact foul, just a tragedy was repeated! About men relay race, there are five teams to participate! Guess which team the fifth was? But China team had staged a Vancouver Winter Olympic's tragedy yet in the men relay final race! And so on...
National team member has been on leave. Some world champions is travelling together, some members went home reunion. And Coach Li Yan will go to America to look for a physical trainer. Before then, In order to welcome Li Yan opened microblog, Wang Meng made a major decision....... In fact, she has gone to America. Haha! Now she and Wang Meng, Sun Linlin are reuniting!

Athletes’ holidays coming to an end. Today I answer own questions. Self entertainment! Haha! The Asia Championships women relay final only had three teams, but lost the bronze medal. Why? It indeed gave a penalty for a team, but it's not the impeding foul. The race champion is China team. But the fact, Chinese team was at a disadvantage, korean team held a safe lead and first arrived to the finish line. But they were fined. People thought the result has been a foregone conclusion when race also had the last two laps. A miracle happened! Korean team handed over the baton in the last one lap and a half. Rules of the competition is the last two laps must be completed by one person. But Why said that this is a tragedy repeated? Because this is not the first time. Do you remember the women relay final at the 0708 season WC4? Or what have you found? korean team player handed over the baton in the last half lap and skated more added a lap. That race was very funny. The men relay race had five teams to participate! The fifth was Indian team. According to a ice fan of watched the race said, they simply cannot the curve technology; In the semi-final, Indian team used the speed skating posture to skated full race and finished the last first; But focuses on participation, Congratulates to them. But China men team had staged a Vancouver Winter Olympic's tragedy yet in the final race! Korean men team had a long lead, China team was the second place, but Chinese player made a block and fall at the last corner. Kazakhstan team was detained a lap, so Chinese player stood up to finished the third place. In order to welcome Li Yan opened microblog, Wang Meng made a major decision...What is the major decision of Wang Meng? Haha, It is that Wang Meng announced a private photo! (Recently she also post a private photo of Sun Linlin, afterward was chased by Sun Linlin. Haha!) Korea domestic selective trial has ended in April. I have posted the Korea National Team Members Lists in the Koreans board. 2011-12 Season is about to begin. The new season has the good play to look! ;D

Thanks for this article, Gasp - I was wondering why I didn't see Keith Carroll at AmCup1! I'm gonna copy it to his thread.
Also, it would seem that the W.H.I.P. (Wheels-To-Ice-Program) might wanna pay a visit to Columbia! Seems like a hotbed of short track prospects!

This is pretty cool! Credit to Peter Doucet's Speed Skate World for this find, speedskateworld.com/ with the following commentary: We present you the last news about of Twin-Track – a new type of figure skating, something like ‘freestyle skating’ or ‘acrobatic short-track’. The technique has been under development for eight years and there is no equivalent style in the world. A series of demonstrations during the Ukrainian 2010-11 ice show season and of the Figure Skating Festival, which was organized on the 24/4/2011 at the “Luzhniki SK” (Moscow). Presentation was a success and has attracted huge interest from both spectators and specialists.

Thanks for the link, gasp - it worked for me as a clickable link! I think it's cool that they're holding a special competition for 'developing' ST countries - love it!
