ST-GELAIS missed 2012 Canadian Open Short Track Championship with back injury And The short track high performance committee will evaluate St. Gelais’ participation in the last two World Cups of the season (Moscow, March 3-5; Dordrecht, the Netherlands, March 10-12) and the World Championship in Shanghai from March 9-11. The following article (primarily about Michael Gilday) also says that Marianne has withdrawn from the individual events at World Championships, but will skate in the relay. The 22-year-old missed the Canadian championships in mid-January because of a back injury.
