Yeah, for some reason we only had 1 of our Ladies competing - Kimi Goetz! It's a pity, no matter what the reason should not be this way. But today see two USA Ladies in the WC6. If so, Will someone come to the Shanghai Trophy? Skaters of ISU Members ranked in the first 24 Ladies/Men in the Overall Classification of the 2015/16 ISU World Ranking Lists stated after the World Cup 4. Too lazy to see the points, Are American players eligible to participate? But the Figure skating queue skating team of USA Take part in the competition. By the way, how do you feel about this Shanghai Trophy? Before I heard that some national teams do not want to participate in this event. Is it too close to the world championships time, so there is no attractive? But it has bonus, and later will be extended to figure skating, speed skating and other projects. Before a lot of people think that this event may not be taken seriously, because after that is the most important world championships.

Share a little news that I saw today. The president of the French Ice Sports Federation Didier Gailhaguet, he is bidding for the International Skating Union's presidency, he proposes a special entertaining event in short track. Proposing a special entertaining event in short track : the “Miss and Out” In agreement with the ISU Short Track Technical Committee, I will propose the “Miss and Out” event in this sport. A basic example would be 9 skaters starting a 18 lap race (2000m). Starting at lap 3 then laps 6, 9, 12, 15, the last skater is eliminated thus that skater has “Missed” and is “Out”. This leaves only 4 skaters left for the last 3 laps and the finish of those skaters at the completion of those last three laps will determine the first, second, third and fourth place finish. The last skater eliminated is identified by traditional transponder lap split times and the finish order after 18 laps is determined by traditional photo finish. www.didier2016.org/en/portfolio/theme-4-modernising-presentation-of-isu-events/What do you think about this new event?
