Jordan has posted a series of pictures of the team's visit to the White House on his athlete Facebook Page (all public) - my favorite is the guys photobombing Michelle Kwan and Evan Lysacek, haha! www.facebook.com/JordanAndrewMalone?ref=br_tf

I really, really like this article. TITLE: Olympic speedskating medalist inspiring kids back home in DentonTYPE: Article TAGS: Jordan Malone / Short Track Speedskating TIMELINE: April 5, 2014 On stage, Malone is in his element. He wants to show people what an undersize kid with asthma, dyslexia and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder accomplished with hard work and determination.
Amanda Faulkner said the lessons are important for her 7-year-old son, Ian, who has autism and symptoms of ADHD. She said Ian rarely makes eye contact when he introduces himself, but he did with Malone.
“It’s going to be very beneficial for him,” Faulkner said. “He needs to see someone else who has had a hard time in school. I can use this to motivate him.”www.dallasnews.com/news/metro/20140405-olympic-speedskating-medalist-inspiring-kids-back-home-in-denton.ece

Jordan is just a great guy. When he first showed up on the men's team he looked like a tucked cannonball out there. He's overcome so much, given so much to his sport. I have great admiration for people who don't let their challenges overcome them. Sometimes it isn't the Big Stars that truly shine the brightest.

A great memory from both Vancouver and Sochi is Jordan skating around the rink with his Texas flag... Now you can take that memory to your wardrobe! Jordan is selling 'Texas Was Here' T-shirts for $20 each - see 'em and order 'em on Jordan's website: jordanmalone.com/shop.html

Jordan was on the World Championship team (March 14-16, 2014 - Montreal, CAN). He did not skate individual events in this competition, but he would likely have skated in the 5000M Relay Final. However, the team finished 3rd in the Semifinals and did not advance, so Jordan did not skate.
