The main video (soon to be posted on Apolo's thread) is primarily about Apolo's training, but this Bloopers video has a lighthearted 'mock interview' between Travis and Simon Cho: www.time.com/time/video/player/0,32068,65612491001_1962043,00.html

Congratulations to Travis for being voted onto the USS Board of Directors as one of the 3 Elite Athlete Representatives. The other 2 are Ian Baranski and Nancy Swider-Peltz, Jr. Long Track.

After the World Championships in Sofia, Travis visited his brother (Alex) in Rouen, France. The two took Alex's class to an ice rink for 'schooling' with Travis! Here's an article about the day - how good is your French? colleges.ac-rouen.fr/barbey/site/spip.php?article218(See more photos at the above link) You'll recognize Travis - his brother Alex is left of him in the pic! Andrew Love (Zen and the Art of Speedskating) roomed with Travis during the Spring Board Meeting last week, and had some nice comments about Travis' medal. A portion: The design of each one is completely unique, like the journey of each athlete who has earned one.Read the story at: www.andrewlove.org/blog/----------------------------------------- BUT WAIT! There's More! Andrew did a 'Ten Zen Questions' interview with Travis (just before the Olympics) that is absolutely wonderful - don't miss it! andrewlove.org/blog/?cat=7Tags: Travis Jayner / Short Track Speedskating
