Has USS posted a complete .pdf of results? I just checked their website, and nothing yet. The only thing I can find is their FB post of Jerry Search's photo that I referenced above... I STILL don't know the order of finish overall for the Ladies - Jacqueline Chen was 1st and Lexi Burkholder was 3rd, and I only know THAT from Facebook friends... For the men, once again, my info is from a FB friend who posted Glen Ellyn Speedskating's photo of the order of finish papers from the rink - THANK YOU, but WHY is Glen Ellyn beating USS to the punch on this? Oh, nevermind...

USS was busy posting lots of info about the LT comp. It was great to see the pics from that competition that included a photo of the "alumni" who stopped by.

Yeah, you're right - and gotta give 'em credit for a great job of coverage on that! But surely it can't be that difficult to post a simple .pdf of results on their website - it's not like somebody has to type it up or anything, 'cause all it is is the same sheets they've been tacking up on the wall all weekend at the venue...

April Shin was second and Kristen Santos was fourth. April won the 1500 super final with a blast of energy that was terrific.

I just saw that USS website and e-mail is down this morning. So I feel compeled to let people know what USS might be discussing now. Last night I heard that junior trials is to be redone at AM Cup II and grievances have been filed.

How in the world are they gonna get all those skaters there on short notice?

I've had a few private conversations with people (more closely familiar with the situation than I am) who are dismayed that this situation may have been unfairly portrayed by the Washington Post as being racially motivated.
I personally know that most of the skaters who could possibly be affected by this 'eligibility' rule happen to be of a) Korean or b) Canadian descent. The Canadians reportedly resolved it ahead of time - so by default, the remainder are primarily of Korean descent.
Let's look at this analytically...
One of our greatest criticisms of USS is that they're 'all about the medals'. So step back and think about it, people - WHY would they deliberately deny one of our most promising skaters the chance to compete at Jr. Worlds, especially when she was cleared to compete LAST year? My knee-jerk reation is to quote the old adage:
Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by imcompetence.
And for the record, by all accounts, Sally Chea has been first-class in her public and private responses to the situation - which confirms the high opinion I've always had of her.
