Happy New Year, Lori, Lily, and everyone else!
Lily, I feel ya' on the desktop issue. Mine is currently in the shop, and I'm not expecting good news. A new 'puter may be in my future.

TOMORROW'S THE DAY!!! Tomorrow (Monday) all Proboards forum owners will have the option to switch their forums over to the new format (at some point all forums will be required to switch). I'm not sure I'll have time to do it tomorrow, but expect it VERY soon, 'cause I'm excited about it!

RE: The new format. It looks crisp and clean, but I'm so lost! LOL. Bummer that when you click on a thread now, it takes you to the first page instead of the most recent. Am I doing something wrong here?

The new Proboards firmware seems to have lost track of everyone's posts on the Members page.

The new Proboards firmware seems to have lost track of everyone's posts on the Members page. Actually, when I first started the forum, I disabled the post counter. So everybody shows "0" posts! I've thought about enabling it again... I dunno, what do y'all think?

I went looking for a past post of mine and couldn't find any of my posts.

Hmmm - I see what you're saying. You're talking about when you go to a profile and you could see that member's most "x number" of most recent posts... I'll see if there's a way to find that.
In the meantime, if you remember some keywords in the post, you could try out the Search feature(?) Let me know if that works for you!

The old record was 80, set on Oct 30, 2012.

Giving everyone a 'heads-up' - I've enabled post counts on the forum. I'm doing this mainly because I've learned that disabling the post count keeps you from being able to easily find your own posts on your Profile (under the Activity tab). Having full access to your Activity Log is the upside - the downside is that now everyone will know if you've posted on the forum 148,759 times and they'll think you have no life outside of short track... EDIT: I see that enabling the post count does not revert back to Day 1 - this is apparently my FIRST post, lol! Oh, well...

Hahaha... I do have a life outside Short Track... skiing in Mammoth this week, and shopping for supplies to take to Debrecen, Hungary!

So Lori, what's the record in a 24 hour period? 'cause I'm seeing 366 guests plus the members today. Wow!
EDIT: 368 in the last few minutes. As of 3:39pm on Friday 3.1.13

As of 3:39pm on Friday 3.1.13 The record is 538, back on Dec 1, 2011. Actually, we had 461 yesterday - which is odd, 'cause a few days earlier it was less than 100, which was probably a record low over the past few years. I guess 'bad news sells'... I'm glad Proboards added that stat feature back again - I've missed it!
