Some of the info gathered here will be used for Tina's bio page on Rocker-U. (see www.rocker-u.net/index_of_skaters.htm ).If you are a non-member who would like to contribute news, photos, archives or comments, please feel free to contact us at:lori@rocker-u.net or michelle@therockerfund.org

Tina has made the move to Southern California. Do ya think she likes it??? ;D And of course, you aren't a true 'California Girl' without partaking in at least, one 'grunion run'. Also, yearly- if not quarterly trips to Disneyland are a must. Hey, ask any true S. Cal girl. Mickey Rules!

Tina wins a national title. With Lezleigh Jaworski and Amy Peterson. Notice how all the ladies are *ahem* holding their hands or other items in front of them. They do drug testing right after the winners finish the race. (As those of you who were part of the 'pee police' can attest to) Unfortunately, the skaters couldn't unload their 'tests' (giggle) before the awards ceremony, and they're not allowed to let anyone else touch them until they're handed over to 'the authorities' - hence, the awkward award photo. (...they might have been able to convince us it was a small glass of lemonade...)

Thanks, SkatingInTheRain for those photos - she looks like she's having fun! Here's a find from our local paper this morning! There's nothing more in the article about Tina - it goes on to talk about the unemployment rate and how it affects restaurant hiring... and about the Bistro itself, which is quite good, BTW. Larry & I ate there during the week the staff was being trained - they all did an excellent job and the food was great!

Just in case you thought skaters live like kings and queens...LOL. Yes, the skaters do what they have to when it comes to trying to pay for and attain their dreams... Me thinks Tina will be fighting the dog for the sleeping bag. ..... but at least Tina has her own bathroom....

...that Tina holds a National Record?

Tina's record and Jessica Smith's 1500M Intermediate Record are the 2 longest-standing National records among Non-Masters Women.
